Hello fellow motonuts! It's that time, the time we alllll dread. Time to sell my baby. She's a beauty, and I hate to see her go, but a combination of wanting to buy a house again and fearing losing my license is leading me to sell her. She's really that fast. It's almost effortless to break 100 on accident in 6th when going around a car. Drop it down to 3rd or 4th and you better have a good grip because she will almost fly. NO JOYRIDES. Cash in hand only, I've seen too many horror stories. The goods: 2009 BMW K1300S 18k approximate mileage - I ride almost daily so it'll changeHas all the goodies, ESA, TPMS, Traction control, ABS, quick shift, only thing missing is bags. Brand new Rear Tire installed in March. Very, very, very clean. Added bar risers and lowering pegs, have the originals, as well as a set of lowering links for the rear if needed. Runs like new. Has a lithium battery, hot start issue has been taken care of the dealer, as well as all recalls. Also installed the booster plug(by dealer as well). I have receipts for all work done. The only bad: There are a couple of light scratches on the rear rim, in the photos you can see it. You won't notice it unless you're looking or it's pointed out. The rear caliper came off at speed due to the dealership not torquing the bolts properly. They also refused to do anything about it, so as much as I hate to bad mouth a place... avoid the Woods in North Austin. Horrible dealership to deal with for service, I had a ton of issues. Anyyywayy... I replaced the caliper at my local and trusted shop and have had no issues since. I'll be happy to include the original caliper with the bike. Also, just FYI- I spoke to a couple shops and they said it should only run 1-200 to repaint the rim. I don't have time to sit on it though, I need to sell it. I have adjusted the price accordingly. So, your getting a very nice, very clean, very well running bike that'll blow your socks, shoes, pants, and jacket off if you get too heavy on the throttle... and getting it for a steal due to one simple fix. I don't need help selling the bike, I won't be lowballed, and I'm not hurting to sell it. It just would be smart to do so. Please don't come offering me 7, 7.5,8 for the bike. Hell, honestly I probably won't entertain 8.5 either. It's too clean and this color in good shape with this low of miles(regularly see 50-60 on this year model) is hard to find.
