2009 BMW K1300S (Lava Orange; metallic) w/ ABS, Heated Grips, Luggage Grid with only 10500 miles in Excellent Condition -- A Rare Find. Bike is very well maintained and garaged with all services performed by BMW. Had a 7K mile service and all the recalls done by BMW. New front and rear tires, new Li-Ion battery (much lighter and better than OEM battery) and equipped with extra aftermarket rise handlebar (sits 1.5-inch higher for more comfortable and closer reach) and Kaoko throttle lock (cruise control for long distance comfort). Bike has always been garaged and covered when not in used. Bike has small scratches on the left side fairing that has been touched up with paint (can be professionally repaired/painted for less than $200). Clean title. Serious inquiries only. Asking $7900.Description:The BMW K 1300S develops such pulling power with 175hp that it takes the heat out of many a 200hp bike. But a bike you can still take out on a quick trip simply because it has great everyday suitability. At the same time a technological treat. The reasons: 103 lb/ft from 1293cc and at 8250 rpm too. With catalytic converter and exhaust valve. And with fuel consumption and exhaust emission values which would suit many a machine with half the dynamic performance. 2012 BMW K 1300 S, I'm getting out of motorcycling and so this bike has to go. If you know the K1300S, then you're aware of its excellent interstate-gobbling abilities and superb handling on sweeping curves. And as a bonus, its luggage capabilities will let you do a multi-day trip easily. In fact, I've completed Saddle Sore 1000s and a Bun Burner 1500 on previous K13s that I owned. The HP edition was produced in a limited run of 750 worldwide in 2012. Mine is number 408 in that group. The HP is distinguished from the rest of the K1300S line by the addition of an Akrapovic exhaust, adjustable HP rearsets and passenger pegs, carbon fiber on the clutch cover, front fender and battery box cover and a track stand. Other features include a tire pressure monitor, on-board computer, heated grips, electronic suspension adjustment (ESA) and automatic stability control (aka traction control). The color scheme is Alpine White/Lupin Blue/Black, which only appeared on the HP version of the K1300S. Additionally, mine has the BMW sport cases, tank bag, throttle lock, alarm system, aftermarket brake/clutch levers and HID headlight. The mileage is just over 5,000. I had all the fluids replaced last year and new Michelin Pilot Road 4 tires installed at about 4500 miles. It's never been dropped, wrecked or stunted. All service bulletin work is up to date, to include a new wiring harness to correct a hot start issue.
