This is an amazing find! A 2001 BMW F650GS with only about 1750 miles (might be a few more as I sometimes ride it occasionally). It's the highly-desirable, lightweight 650cc watercooled single, with electric start, fuel injection, ABS brakes, heated grips and more. It is in almost showroom condition and has never been offroad or even ridden in the rain! The red paint is as near flawless as I can see; the silver details (luggage rack, etc.) have a few minor scuffs from riders' boots contacting when mounting. I polished some out so more will clean up. The biggest flaw is a tiny scuff on the inside of the rim around the tachometer (see picture with arrow) and if I didn't mention it you'd probably have never noticed it. The throttle grip has a small chip out of the rubber, possibly from a tie-down. The tires are brand-new dual sports with the rubber tits still on them! Perfect bike for dual sport use, for around town and longer highway trips, ideal for newer riders as it's so easy to ride and the seat height is perfect for those with short legs. The perfect all-around, go-anywhere, do-anything motorcycle! Included is the touring equipment, the genuine BMW aluminum expandable panniers and the rear tour box, large enough for a full-coverage helmet or two open face helmets. There are a few minor dings in the aluminum and minor scuffs to the tour box, all from storage, not the bike falling (it's never been tipped over). All three pieces of luggage clip on and off in seconds and keys are included. The bike runs absolutely like new and is serviced and ready to ride...anywhere in the world!

On offer is my trusty 2005 F650 GS which has accompanied me on a circumnavigation of the USA. I have a clear Californian title. I bought it in Redding CA in June 2011 with 7000 miles on it and it's now showing 25000 miles. It travelled around on the back of my C Class Motorhome each summer over the past 4 years and was put into storage for the winter months. During my ownership I have changed the oil and filter every 5000 miles and checked the bike over very well before each ride. It has never let me down. In addition the following has been done or replaced. June 2012 ( 11850 miles) Chain & sprockets replaced - O Ring type. New Front brake pads. Replaced steering head bearings. New Air & oil filter. May 2013 ( 15100 miles) New front & rear Metzeler Tourance tyres fitted. June 2014 ( 19600 miles ) New battery. I have all the service books and records and a good assortment of tools. Has a bit of "wear & tear" consistent with it's use but no damage / broken panels / or missing parts. Comes with the Givi Topbox and "well worn" tank bag, set of spare keys and a few spare parts. Only "issue" at present is leaking fork seal - not hard or expensive to replace. I have a really nice VersaHaul carry rack which will go with the bike if you need it. FREE !! Please note.
