The BMW has 31,300 miles on a really nice Rotax motor that didn't need a valve adjust at all at 31,000 miles! This bike rides great and I love it for summer fun on the roads. I currently am running more street tires as I have a bad spine condition. This bike is setup for dual sport tires as well, I just don't have those. What I've done to this bike:synthetic oil change

2001 BMW f650GS Dakar up for sale.First, its only got about 31,300 miles on the bike and its a 2001.This water cooled bike cruises nice as a thumper (single cylinder) I'm really impressed with the Rotax (Austrian made) motor BMW put in in those days, its a nice nice engine, it just loves the freeway, and the twisties. The aftermarket/OEM upgrades--Fresh synthetic oil and filter change done 11/16/16 and the chain lubed! Two Bro's header with power tip. (still have the stock exhaust too, and comes with this sale)Two brand new tires Pirelli Scorpion Trail so its leaning right now towards a Supermoto look with Three really nice luggage bags on the back end. (I can haul well over three bags groceries at a time)New clutch installed probably about a 2 years ago by mechanicValves checked for clearance about a year ago, didn't even need adjusting, after years of riding it.Iridium spark plug keep it running/burning fuel more efficientlyNew front fork seals replaced fairly recentlyReupholstered the seat by Corbin seats in Hollster California, it is so comfortable now! they re-cut and angled it better for my thighs, because I'm 5'-6" tall with 30" inseam.New gas/spring adjust Hagon rear monoshock which cost me 900.00 all said and done. It also has a rebound dampner, that is set perfect to keep the rear wheel gripping nicely through turns. This Hagon rear Shock is amazing! It handles so much better now, and it such a better ride from the stock monoshock. (the price of this bike,is higher mainly because this Hagon monoshock cost me so much, and is far superior to the original monoshock. Also, all the other replacement parts, cost too) Now with the Hagon, it's very smooth through the corners and comfortable with that Corbin custom seat for distance rides.(this rear Hagon monoshock was made custom, shorter by 2" because of my height and the front was lowered about an inch.) this is a bike that would fit someone about 5-6" to 6'-1" perfectly.)New gold RK Racing Chain, it looks so good on the bikeGreat battery installed about 2 years, and its still strong. (liquid style not dry cell)Always running really good synthetic oil: Repsol moto 4T 20w-50New chain tensioner that keeps drive chain working properly!Replaced oem water pump about two years ago still works fine. (radiator fluid is always checked)New rear brake master cylinder (original is perfect and its in saddle bag, and a spare water pump too.)Registration sticker attained in February 2018!I have the ownership papers here at home! its registered and has full insurance through progressive.Cash only, have an M1 license to test ride, $5000 OBOI'll throw in three bike covers too! I use three to protect the bike extra. Thanks,Charlie
