BEFORE YOU SAY HOW MUCH!  LOOK AT THE TRAVEL OPTIONS ON THIS BIKE!The all-new 2009 F 650 GS offers more power and more thrills per mile than ever before in the form of a 71 horsepower, torque-filled, twin cylinder engine. From touring, to off-road exploring, to sporty handling on the tarmac, this middleweight machine, based on the much anticipated F 800 GS, does anything and everything the ambitious motorcyclist could ever want. With a rigid steel tube trellis frame, it's sturdy. With a double-sided swing arm and chain drive, it's reliable. And with a low seat height and narrow design, it's ideal for darting through trees or traffic. Cast aluminum wheels and telescopic forks keep the ride smooth and precise at all times. Throw in disengageable ABS and even Tire Pressure Monitoring as options, and you get a road-hungry, enduro-styled motorcycle that can tackle anything in its path and beg for more.Available July 2008.

2002 BMW F 650 GS Selling on behalf of a friend who keeps too many motorcycles in my garage. He bought this machine in anticipation of the Idaho Backcountry Discovery Route and a trip to Alaska with me. I went through the machine from top to bottom, then just three days before our trip he shows up with a bigger BMW 1200GS--- which is also now parked in my garage! So this immaculately prepared BMW 650GS has to go. It's in mint condition and has been completely serviced mechanically. . ..below is the write-up: Brand new tires Brand new LED off-road lighting package Brand new oil & filter Brand new K&N Air filter Brand new shims and valve-adjustment--good for another 6000 miles before checking Brand new chain Brand new Ohlin's Shock rebuilt from factory--good for ten years at least! Just-serviced OEM panniers with matching key for ignition Comes with extra ignition keys Brand new coolant & flush Battery-tender charging port Aftermarket standard-sized 12-v power port for running air compressors, accessories, GPS, etc. BMW 12-v power port for running heated jackets, GPS, etc. Brand new front fork seals Brand new GEL battery Brand new front drive sprocket Brand new rear drive sprocket Brand new front brake pads Brand new rear brake pads Custom shaped suede and leather seat with yellow piping-stitches to match! And. . . it comes with a GIVI! In addition to the above it has the bulletproof Rotax-based 650cc engine; factory expandable panniers/cases; adventure strength spoked-wheels; a rear top box; heated grips; ABS; power ports for your electric accessories, etc. Everything about the bike is in tip-top condition and it needs nothing because it was prepped for a cross-county, off-road adventure ride. I would unhesitatingly put my friends and family on it. Receipts for everything-- selling it at a loss. Clean title, signed and ready, is in hand. Test drives only with a valid MC endorsement and a suitable security deposit. *Available if posted* *No, I don't text* Douglas
