ESSENTIALLY BRAND NEW BMW F800R 798cc NAKED BIKE 390 Miles OD. Motorcycle was purchased 11 months ago and has been garage kept since day 1. Motorcycle is listed for sale as I am unable to ride it as often as I would like. Finding something wrong or, to complain about with the motorcycle was an impossible feat. Appearance: It is a gorgeous motorcycle, fit and finish as well as precision of build quality are every bit BMW. The feeling at any speed on this motorcycle (which features knee partitions that follow your legs resulting in a very connected feel) is both thrilling and exciting and every bit an Ultimate Riding Machine. The motorcycle is quiet, relatively low decibel output for around town/ neighborhood driving but has a distinctive BMW growl at the twist of the throttle. Ride quality is comfortable and reassuring (manually adjustable ride height). Plenty of power and torque from the DOHC inline 2cyl., delivered through a wide ratio 6spd and contacts the road with very capable Metzler tires. Brembo dual-calipers-front-single-rear, constantly monitored by ABS and ETC, brings the motorcycle to a stop very quickly on wet or dry pavement. Options included are Heated grips (multi level heat output which work VERY well), Upgraded windshield (moves the air to a higher point on the helmet, great for cold weather too). No issues with mechanics or electrical functions of the vehicle, ***minor cosmetic damage (highlighted on left side of vehicle in picture) in the form of a few small nicks (less than a few millimeters in diameter) and an abrasion to the paint on the end of the handlebar.***Exhaust has discoloration (highlighted in picture below) from the dealer. Plastic hose from the engine block was disconnected and rested on the exhaust which melted the plastic. Motorcycle was returned to dealer day after purchase and the dealer resolved the issue very quickly. Price listed was calculated based on initial price of motorcycle, mileage/ age (lower than the average mileage on a motorcycle of its age and, in terms of the longevity one can expect from a BMW Motorcycle), NADA appraisal, overall value/ depreciation and, condition of the motorcycle. Vehicle is being sold as is condition with both keys, tool kit and manual/ service log which has yet to be stamped.
