Great condition. Well maintained w/ records to show. Clean title in hand. 998 CC rotax engine which has a reputation for being reliable. Brand new this bike generated around 125 HP at the wheel. I have never had any problems w/ this bike and I have always kept it garaged. Very comfortable after market Sargent seat. I have ridden it from the east bay to Monterey w/out a break. Full Arrow Titanium exhaust. A little loud for my taste, but I'm getting old. I installed LED supplemental turn signals and brake lamps in the back because a prior owner had removed the stock signals for the aftermarket exhaust. The brake lamps had been wired to serve as the tail lamps, brake lamps and turn signals. This was not bright / safe enough for me so I purchased and installed the LEDS. Frame and bar-end sliders. Zero Gravity wind screen. Dynojet Power Commander installed. 25,000 miles and time for service. There is a small (approx. 1 inch) scratch on the tank that is shown in the photos. Otherwise beautiful w/ only the minor, tiny flecks that you have to look for. If you want to ride you must bring: Cash for the purchase price, M1 California Driver's License, proof that you have been insured on another motorcycle.

I've never seen another bike even similar to this monster on the streets, so rest assured, you'll leave an impression. With the akrapovic pipes, you'll be unmistakable on the streets. This bike is not a beginner bike. If you come to look at it, I want a cashier's check for the full value if you expect to take it on a test drive. This is obviously to protect myself, and if you aren't impressed I'll give the check back, no big deal. The price includes a brand new matching shoei helmet, brand new battery, and a full year of registration. 14.5k miles on it; like new. Always kept in a nice dry garage. I drained the fluids while in storage, and just topped them all off to sell it the way I would want to buy it; ready to hit the streets. Tires are like new.

I am selling my first "big boy, grown-up" motorcycle. It is super clean and looks just like new. A kid on a new Ducati 899 Panigale couldn't believe my bike was a 2005! I am the original owner. This Tuono and I have had many years of fun and adventure, including a trip to the MotoGP Laguna Seca race. This bike has the best of all motorcycle worlds; powerful, fast, confidence inspiring handling/braking and all day long comfort. 2005 is the last year of the original Tuono design. In my opinion, it is the best of the V-twin era. The standard components Aprilia specified are top notch; Brembo brakes and wheels, steering damper, fully adjustable Showa fork and fully adjustable Sachs shock. I just had Dave Moss tune the suspension setting. It really takes the mountain and canyon roads like no one's business! The mileage is at just over 10,000. All service is up to date. Last major one was done by Pro-Italia in Glendale. The battery is fairly new. The tires are in good shape and have may more miles of smiles to offer.
