2008 Aprilia Sportcity 250 Scooter * A High Quality Scooter That Actually Scoots * Efficient 70 MPG * Speeds > 70 MPHThis is a fantastic scooter that I have been using for short trips to work and shopping and zipping around Greensboro. This is NOT one of those little scooters you often see that are tying up a traffic because it cannot get over 35 mph. This scooter holds its own in traffic and can out-accelerate most any car around town. This is NOT one of those cheap, poorly built Chinese scooters. Aprilia is an Italian motorcycle company, one of the marques owned by Piaggio which also owns Vespa. You are getting a high quality, well built, reliable machine here. I have been its sole owner, and this scooter has been largely worry free. I replaced the fuel pump last summer, had a tire replaced because of a nail, and had the factory turn signals replaced with the more sleek "Euro style" turn signals. The SportCity is a blast to ride and I'm not in a huge hurry to sell it -- but my family now has more vehicles than it needs, so I am looking to unload this scooter to the right buyer.
