I hate to do it but I am putting my white 2012 Aprilia RSV4 R APRC up for sale. Now that I have kids I just don't have the time and I would rather spend my time with them anyway. Even the last two years I have ridden maybe 10-15 times.The bike has the following modifications:-Full Akrapovic Race Exhaust System (AK-S-A10R1-ZC) ($1,800)-ECU unlocked to RACE (forget what I paid but it was between $300-$500)-Ohlins adjustable steering damper ($300)-Dynojet Power Commander V ($600)-Tuned by Nels at 2 Wheel DynoWorks-Fender eliminator ($100)-HID low beams ($50)-GB Racing clutch and stator covers (~$200)-OEM Aprilia Frame Slider RSV4 ($325)-Smoke turn signals ($40)-Smoke integrated LED tail ($160)Bike has about 4,000 miles on it, oil change done last year and only a couple of tanks of gas on it.The only downside on the bike, depends how to you look at it, is that the title has a rebuilt title. The bike when down at <30mph, rear slide out and scraped up the right side plastics, tank, engine cover, bar end, right foot peg, and headlight. That all has been replaced with new parts either new from Aprilia or pulled from a bike which was purchased new and converted to a track bike. The rebuilt came from that the foot peg just barely touched the frame and made a mark on it. The peg did not dig into the frame or anything, just touched it. Since insurance replaces everything the cost of the frame labor was over 40 hours thus totaling the bike out. The tank actually got replaced via the recall these bikes had.The bike is in mint condition except for the mark on the frame which no one would even notice unless I point it out. While I understand that there is a stigma about rebuilt titles which hurts the sale to some buyers I am not willing to take a hit on it. The bike currently is fully insured through Allstate and if it were stolen or totaled the payout is exactly the same as a non-rebuilt title which is in accordance to WA State law, other states may vary. State Farm also said they would insure the bike again once I had a ticket dropped off which has but I choice to stick with Allstate. Do not confuse rebuilt with salvage, they are not the same. Salvage is not even street legal whereas rebuilt is. Also, replacement value in WA state is by law requires that the insurer to search your local area for 2 comparable vehicles for sale and value is based on that. They do not go by KBB or NADA and there is absolutely no such thing as your value being cut in half just for being a rebuilt, this is a falsehood that people think. This will vary from state to state.
