For sale is my 2007 Aprilia Scarabeo 500 IE Scooter. If you have never driven or owned one, you are in for a treat. This scooter is extremely quick, and rides / handles with the best of them.I am the second owner, as I purchased it from my father-in-law earlier in 2016.The scooter has 1,560 miles. You will not find another 2007 with as low of mileage anywhere. The condition is between mint and excellent. The reason for the variance is due to the fact that my wife accidentally dropped the scooter due to the weight. As a result, there is a tiny (2") horizontal scratch on the driver's side rear panel and a small (3") vertical scratch on the driver's side of the steering column. Aside from that, the scooter is immaculate.An oil change was conducted 200 miles ago, as well as a new stepper motor having been installed. Both of these were done at Ducati Santa Barbara.Included in the sale are two black Bell full-face shield helmets with helmet. These are both in like-new condition. Also, included is a woman's medium riders jacket. This is a sweet ride very advanced for its time, super clean, well maintained, well ridden and fast. The Rotax v twin 990 is pretty much bulletproof, no timing chain. Gear driven dual overhead cam,Fuel injected. Has a bad *** titanium renegade hi mount exhaust. I really hate to let this jewel go.
