I purchased this bike new in Feb 2014 with an extended warranty. The bike has been my baby and has a little over 7600 miles on it and is amazing to ride! The ABS is literally a lifesaver and provides confidence under hard braking. I have made some modifications to the bike. The big heavy factory mufflers were replaced with a set of Vance & Hines Brawlers. The stock mirrors were removed and replaced with a set of CRG Lane-splitters. The huge rear bumper and license plate mount was replaced with a Yoshimura undertail kit. The rear blinkers were integrated into the rear tail light. The front indicators were replaced with a set of low profile LEDs. Rider aerodynamics were improved with a slightly larger flyscreen. It really helps to "prop" you up at speed and doesn't create any buffeting around your head. I still have most of the stock parts. The only negative thing that I have to say is that the rear tire will need to be replaced soon. These bikes are fairly rare to see on the streets and they really turn heads and get attention! One of the best features about this bike is that you get supersport performance without the steep insurance premiums associated other more popular "R" bikes.

Tons of custom parts, very meticulous maintenance. Oil changed at 600, 1600 and again at 4200 miles, Amsoil metric bike. Very well cared for. I am a motorcycle safety instructor/rider coach and have owned no less than 20 bikes in the last 15 years living and riding in California. Buell, Triumph, Honda, MV Augusta, and now Kawasaki.
