Packed full of racing-inspired advanced electronics and a hair-raising high-output engine, the Ninja ZX-10R is a sophisticated thriller. Features may include: Engine The 998cc in-line four-cylinder engine of the 2015 ZX-10R features linear power delivery leading up to potent peak performance. To make power manageable for racers, peak torque exists higher in the power band so it s easier to accelerate sooner out of a corner. Fed by the Ram Air intake and dual fuel injectors, the 47mm main- and oval sub-throttle valves create refined power delivery. The main injectors contribute to low- and mid-range power, while the secondary injectors supplement high rpm operation. Traction Control The highly sophisticated Sport-Kawasaki Traction Control (S-KTRC) system is inspired by the technology Kawasaki developed while racing in MotoGP. The system monitors throttle position, engine rpm, wheel speed & slippage, and acceleration via data gathered from both wheels. It uses this data to optimize traction and adjust power to the rear wheel to maintain maximum acceleration.
