Check out this super clean 2014 Candy Cardinal Red ZG 1400 Concours . If you want to combine sport riding with the comfort of a modern touring machine , then you should come see this Super Sport Tourer . The Concours has rewritten the rules for the Sport Touring game . Kawasaki has blended strong performance with touring class technology and comfort to make your day trip or your cross country trip a great time . The motor is based off of the 1352 cc beast of a powerplant from the ZX 1400 with variable valve timing , it is ultra smooth and makes power everywhere . At 70 mph in Overdrive 6th gear this bike cruises effortlessly at a mere 3000 rpm ! It has awesome acceleration , great midrange and you can lug it around in any gear . The riding position is very comfortable and this ZG 1400 has a custom Saddleman touring seat . You can adjust the electronic windshield to best fit the type of ride you are taking , i like it low around town and slower speeds but higher on the highway works best . This bike also has a set of 2 inch handlebar risers for a more comfortable reach and riding position too . The bike even has adjustable clutch and brake levers to dial it in to your liking . Fill up that 5.8 gallon fuel tank , pack those large detachable saddlebags up and go . The bags are mounted as close to the bikes centerline and center of gravity , they are lightweight to minimize their effect on the handling . There are lots of nice touches and thought process that went into building and perfecting this bike . Kawasaki offers nice color matched trunks and maybe put on a full size tank bag to increase your storage capacity . The Concours also has a nice set of brakes to match the power , they are fitted with the K-ACT system which is Kawasaki Advanced Coactive-braking Technology . This system offers two modes of linked , anti-lock braking . KTRC is their traction control system and you can even disengage if you like . Triple disc brakes do their job very well on this one . The ZG has a lightweight aluminum sport inspired frame , adjustable front and rear suspension to give it great handling for a bike of its size . I have ridden plenty of these bikes and its agility will surprise you . The Tetra -Lever swingarm has a unique four-link design , it offsets lifting and squatting tendencies of a shaft drive under acceleration and decel too , and it is virtually maintenance free too . The bike has beautiful lines and the shape of a sportbike but with overall comfort to ride it for long periods of time , which you will love to do . The bike even has heated grips and plug-in outlets for gear . Go out and put some miles on it , it is covered by Kawasaki factory warranty until May 3, of 2017 . 2011 Kawasaki CONCOURSE, Description:In the world of sports-touring bikes, the 2011 Kawasaki Concours presents itself as an appealing machine from first glance. Four upswept parallel bars on the intake fairing are mirrored on the rear saddlebags for a pleasing-to-the eye unity of design. These raised ridges give an airplane-like impression of speed and aerodynamics. Most of the mechanicals are smoothed over by the bodywork, making a clean, unified elegance of lines. The colors are understated. Three options are: Atomic Silver/Flat Super Black, Candy Neptune Blue/Super Flat Black, or Ebony/Super Flat Black. Ample storage awaits creative loading: dash storage, two hard side bags, and a rear rack. The dash and bags are lockable. The two-place seat is clean in design and looks inviting for long-distance adventure. The windscreen is electrically adjustable, with a memory function to remember which rider likes what height. The exhaust pipe on the right side is massively thick. The designers obviously paid more than passing attention to it. The shape and the two-tone coloration make it look less utilitarian than most, and more a part of the overall flow of lines, rather than something that is in place because it has to be.The 2011 Kawasaki Concours is in its 25th year of production, having been introduced in 1986.
