2004 Honda Shadow VLX DELUXE, I am selling my 2004 Honda Shadow VLX Deluxe VT600CD. This is a great running bike and has been maintained properly. I purchased the bike in August 2014 and have put 10,000 miles on her since then! She currently has 35,625 miles on her and that will climb as soon as I can get back outside. I average right at 50 MPG and have recorded every fill up for the last 10,000 miles. Minor scratches. Minor rust spots on some chrome areas. The tires are within specs, but that is about it. A previous owner installed aftermarket straight pipes (which sound awesome!) and evidently tuned the carb right, it runs perfectly. The gearing was also set up for more comfortable highway speeds. I cruise at 80 mph with no problem, although my typical speed is 70-75. When I purchased the bike I had Moto Ace go through her, everything was great. All maintenance was done then. I have done 2 oil changes and 1 plug change since then, have another set of plugs ready to go in. The bike has an aftermarket windshield, seat, exhaust pipes, saddle bags, passenger back rest and luggage rack. I bought this bike to learn on and she is a great and forgiving teacher. It is time for me to shell out the big bucks for my permanent bike. Alabama title in hand. Cash only. No joy rides. I do not need assistance selling this bike, she will do it herself.
