Here;s the answer to the big question, has it ever been laid down. The short answer is yes, but never with any significant speed. 1) First time, shortly after I got the bike I was maneuvering in a parking garage and simply let it get away from me. I got both feet to the ground and wasn't moving but simply wasn't able to stop the momentum. 2) Second time, leaving the same parking garage. The aftermarket horn was not secured well by the installing dealer. It worked loose and caused the fork to bind as I was pulling out of the parking garage. I leaned into the turn but since the horn was inhibiting the fork, all I did was lean, too far of course (). 3) Third time I was riding in the mountains and turned a corner and a doe ran out in front of me. I managed to stop the bike as it fell over, so there was no forward motion. $13,800.00
