2001 Honda St Series 1100, Sale from private party, I'm original owner, detailed service records available for this ready-to-ride ST. This is a perfect commuter vehicle or means to take your significant other across continent. The weather protection from the full fairing and hard saddle bags offers great flexibility. I'm getting around 42 MPG. Title is in hand, garaged kept at all times, currently 44,800 miles but increasing weekly. I've driven this all over the South, Natchez Trace, Dragon, Carolinas, etc -- it has never left me stranded. Starts eagerly, needs nothing. If you are 6' plus and trying to find a comfortable sport-touring bike, this is a great option. The windshield, handle-bars and seat are customized for my 6'6" frame. Included upgrades: - Race Tech Gold Valve Emulators, cartridge style / adjustable front suspenstion - Heli Bars, making the riding posture very configurable. These bring the steering 2.5" back to further support an upright riding style. - Rifle 4"+ windshield. - Custom seat with gel pad inserts. - Throttlemeister throttle lock, visible in pictures this is the chrome bar end that when twisted locks the throttle. - Fused, switchable power outlets for GPS, electric grips or vest, XM satellite radio, etc. See harness adapter in photos of ignition key - Original "stock" handlebars and windshield, mint though dirty condition - Original and complete OEM toolkit, manual, receipts for most maintenance done. - Haynes and Clymer manuals, Honda included manual - Full OEM toolkit - 2 new in-box K&N oil filters, installed K&N air filter, 4 replacement front brake pads (checked wear in last 1000 miles, pads not yet needed) - RAM ball mount on handlebars for attaching GPS, cell phone, etc - If needed, I can throw in a used large full-face helmet. New tires installed at 44,000 miles. Front, Avon Storm 2 Ultra AV55, 110/80Zr18. Rear, Avon Storm 2 Ultra 160/60ZR17. Photos of both tires included. Both have good life remaining in them. This bike has been ridden regularly and serviced as recommended. The power band is extremely wide, 65 mph is comfortable in 3rd, 4th and 5th gear. Low maintenance shaft drive which is geared quite tall, 5th gear is something like overdrive. It is perfect for weekend getaways with the lockable, detachable hard luggage. Cosmetic "challenges" on the right saddle bag but is in all other respects in great condition. The first person with $3500 gets a fine example of Honda reliability and handling.
