2001 HONDA RC51 V TWIN SP1. I love this bike and it is way different then most sport bikes. odometer states 32k but speed shows higher by 20% so really about 25k miles. these are very reliable motors and most of these bikes have 30-50k miles now. if you don't know about these machines they have a ton of torque and sound amazing along with super reliability . they were designed and built for one purpose. to beat Ducati on the race trace so they were called the "duck killers" and that is exactly what they did because they had much more power and way more reliable. they made few of them and are fantastic machines. I have always admired them. sound amazing. the look of the twin pipes with the radiators on the side. great body and size as well fits a larger rider. this is a motorcycle I have always wanted as iv been riding sport bikes 15 years. I always loved the sound. iv owned just about every sport bike and this one has so much more character. rides great with plenty of power. great sound with the D&D exhaust system bike just got put on stand with basic tear down and gone over by me, here is a list for new items 2016... flush out front and rear brake fluid replaced DOT4 flush out hydraulic clutch fluid new spark plugs valve adjustment oil change 10-40 new radiator fluid new RK O-ring chain 530 new front and rear tire - both Michelin pilot powers new adjustable light weight brake and clutch levers new mirror block off plate new adjustable levers new phone holder for GPS waze replaced fairings due to minor scratches only (still have old ones and pictures to prove just scratches ) new alarm system with remote cleaned existing CORBIN seat wrapped exhaust with black fiberglass race wrap new front turn signals replaced with led I have been installing leds for over 10 years, i spent many hours positioning the led lights under headlights, in grills, under exhaust and down to the back of the motorcycle. red color lights up the bike floor area very nicely and set off by remote firm on price, a real joy to ride and will be collectors bike and rare with rich history. $3900 561 312 5447. no trades and very firm on cash would keep if I wasn't moving. first one with full cash amount gets it the body does have some scratches and cracks, from transporting the bike in a van. you can tell as the fairings done have any road rash from sliding just crack from falling over but not very noticeable. own a part of history, a iconic bike that is going up in value
