It absolutely kills me to list this bike after 15 years but its just no longer comfortable for me to ride, so here we go! I bought it new in 2003 and have owned it ever since. Its always been garaged and well looked after, no stunts, wheelies or track use. The majority of its 9,934 miles (subject to current use increases) has been in the suburbs on great backroads, when I used to have time to be gone riding all day Sunday. Its in unbelievable condition overall with only one thing that lets it down from being 100%, there is a crack on the tail section plastic from a minor drop one winter. Should the price come close to asking, I will buy a new tail section for the new owner, they are easily available for under $200. Modifications are pretty much limited to appearance/protection except for the slip on exhaust. For sale my first bike, 2015 Yamaha R3, best starter bike! Clean title Never dropped, very obvious to see, some small scratches from normal use. Oil change 2 times, first at 600 miles and 2nd at 3.600m, both at the motorcycle shop. Have been lubing the main every 300miles and cleaning every 1000. I've had the bike for about 3 month and managed to put 4394 miles on it. 90% witch is in Manhattan. I use this bike to commute every day to gym and work. Reason for selling it is that I realize that I'm not in to sport bikes. All thou I took it to the track last week and it performed amazing. In fact if I won't find the buyer I will keep it as my track machine only. Here is the upgrades I did: -Vortex racing clips-ons (makes it in to more aggressive position as it was super upright before) -Frame sliders -Spools (back wheel) -New Diablo rosso 2 tires ( good for 2500 miles at the very least. Very sticky, unlike crappy stock ones) -Acrapovic slip on exhaust (way better sound that stock) -Aftermarcet clutch and brake adjustable levers -Rear fender eliminator kit Also there was nation recall of all the R3 in US, so I brought it to the dealer and they changed some parts of the clutch. So you down hat to do it. Comes with motorcycle stand, so you can lift it up and do chain work. Only thing you can see is scratches on the seat, from the ****** cat that I found sleeping there one night.
