Bike is in good shape for its age.  Purchased last year as first bike.  New Batt,tires,manifolds,steering bearings, air filter, oil and filter, fuel petcocks (used standard and capped vacume lines)   I was planning on riding this bike this year but ran across a deal on a bigger bike. THe old girl has a lot of life in her .   Note the high back seat is sold. bike comes with the lower profile seat.

Selling my 1981 Yamaha Virago XV750. It runs good and the only problems I know of are small oil leak on the bottom side and a dent in the gas tank from when the tank fell off a shelf in the garage. This is a good bike I am only selling because I agreed to with my wife when I got a boat. The current mileage is 23,189. I put new dunlop tires on the bike last fall. The other improvements are steel front brake line, straight pipes, and AGM battery. A lot of people use this bike as a base for building a chopper or cafe racer. This is the first year of this model and I believe the first Japanese V-Twin. I'm asking $1,100

11,485 miles, good condition, garaged, full price includes additional Plexifairing III windshield with mounts. minor scratches on tank from previous owner's keys. Muffler scrape is not from this bike being down. When I bought this bike the mufflers had been gutted and it was too loud to ride for long distances. I bought the current exhaust used and it came with the scrape. Not noticeable unless you look for it. This is a good value for a classic cruiser. Low seat height is great for smaller riders and entry level. Well cared for and well maintained, runs like a champ with plenty of power for all around cruising, even two up. Saddle bags are new and waterproof with enough capacity for overnight trips. Buy now, price will go up if I still have it when the weather warms up. Shipping can be arranged at your cost.

For sale is my 1982 Yamaha Virago cafe racer. I built this for myself, but some personal issues have come up and now the bike is for sale. It runs great, and has recently had the engine swapped from a 1982 XV750 to a 1992 XV1100; hence why it is listed as a 1982 XV1100 (even though they don't exist.) Customization include: PWK 32MM Carburetors High-Compression XV1100 Engine (920 heads) Dime City Cycles headlight Hand built subframe from cold rolled steel tubing. Lithium-ion battery. XV1100 Front forks. Rear-to-front wheel conversion (15 inch rims) Tires have only 1000 miles on them. Benelli Mojave Chrome tank Vintage Italian petcocks and gas cap. MotoLanna seat. Digital speedometer/tachometer Bar end mirrors Clip-on handlebars LED brake and tail lights Custom VF500 rearsets and handmade linkages. I encourage and am happy to arrange inspections. Anyone with a short inseam will find this a good feature. This one has been set up with forward controls, nice touch!! The wide and well-cushioned seat is comfortable on long rides. It makes plenty of power by it's V-Twin engine. The shaft drive is quiet and easy to maintain. The dual disc front brakes are more than adequate to control and stop the bike. The Virago also has metal painted fenders. All of our pre-owned bikes have been serviced by our factory trained mechanics, and will have fresh oil changes,and a full checklist has been completed. 81 Yamaha Virago XV750 duel carb. She has aftermarket Vance and Hines pipes and has been jetted to match, custom paint job. She only has 15xxx miles newer tires. I have stubby turn signals and a sack in the front. She comes with an extra motor that has 30xxx miles on it, but has been completely overhauled and a spare brand new starter. She also comes with an extra spare front and rear wheel. Also comes with a set of drag bars. Might entertain partial trades with cash depending on the item offered.
