I'm selling my HD V-Rod. This is a great bike with an amazingly designed engine. I'm the second owner & it's been dealer serviced all its life.New front tire was dealer installed this spring at inspection time, along with the rear-brake pressure switch. The rear tire is badly worn & will be $350 for the dealer to replace; for the full "Buy it Now", I will have the new one installed at FX Caprara's Harley Davidson (formerly Iron Block Harley). Otherwise, you get the badly worn rear tire & I wouldn't recommend riding it far. It passed NYS safety inspection this past spring but I did ride it a lot this summer; the belts are peeking through now! Harley Extended Service Plan until Dec. 14, 2014; it is transferable but Harley does charge a small fee. Not sure how much. This 1130cc engine is bullet-proof! HD engineers went to Porsche to help with the design for a liquid-cooled V-twin, since they had successfully made the leap from air-cooled to water-cooled a few decades back. This engine has done extremely well for Harley at the track & there are examples out there with well over 100k miles and still running strong. They are fantastic! The bike has minor scratches & wear marks but the only 'serious' flaw is a dime-sized chip in the tank on the right-hand side where the hand-brake cable must have hit it pretty good at some point. I used matching metallic touch-up paint to cover the area so it looks fine from 20' but is obvious up close. I'll try to add a close-up picture as soon as I can but it's there in the pictures posted, just hard to see from that distance. Previous owner had the red two-tone flame skins (HD of course) installed by the dealer before it left the lot. He had good taste! The accessories are also genuine Harley Davidson (I believe all of them). Here's the list:51119-01A Luggage Rack51120-01A Fender Base Plate51126-01A Sissy Bar53432-02 Sundowner seat/pillion57850-01 AirBox Cover Bra92190-06 SplitVision mirrorsplus the 100th Anni Ed of Super Sport Windshield (standard version is 57109-01, not sure what the Anni Ed's PN is)Passenger full running boards, driver mini-boards, not sure the part #'sHard-shell locking HD saddle-bags, (two keys)Heated grips, flame theme to match the skins.Chrome covers, lines, etc.Lead for battery tender installed.Remote for the security system + two high-security ignition keys. There may be more that I'm not remembering, too!NADA Average Retail is $9182 with any of the $1000's in genuine HD add-ons. My asking is fair but I will look at reasonable offers & take the best one...but the first to hit Buy It Now gets it. Don't miss out for a few bucks! I also have the original take-offs when the red skins were put on, the 100th Anniversary Edition brushed aluminum ones. NOS basically. I'm selling the 4-piece set for $1000 after I sell the bike but I'll include them AT THE TIME OF SALE of the bike for an additional $600, firm. The last picture is a stock shot of it with these tins. In a couple pics, the mini-boards are shown on the passenger pegs; if you'd rather those, I'll swap them back. You get one or the other! The HD backpack is NOT included, nor the helmet. Pick-up at my house in Alex Bay, NY. Delivery might be available for an additional fee ($1.25/mile as calculated from 13607; you only pay one way); ask ahead of time if you need delivery though. If you need delivery, that will need to be paid in advance via PayPal. Cash for the bike at time of delivery; if you aren't satisfied with the bike, you don't need to buy it but obviously I keep the delivery fee to cover my time & fuel.
