Hi. I bought this car for its engine, but it is so original that I would hate to remove it. 1954 Hudson Jet. This car is extremely original except for a repaint. Upon looking the car over, it honestly looks like it has NEVER BEEN ALTERED! You should see the interior on this car! It looks awesome for a 60 year old car! It even has the original rubber floor mats. The rockers and quarters are rusted, but the floors look extremely nice! Look at pictures. I tried briefly to get it running but no dice. I have a new 6 volt battery for it. It needs to be gone through, but is an extremely nice original car. The only thing I saw missing was a rubber bumper for the hood! I would hate to take this car apart. The car needs tires, brakes and the engine to be gone through and I do not know its mechanical status so I am selling it as-is. I also have another Jet for sale as well as many parts. Thanks.

1953 Hudson Jet (green) - Rolling project that needs completion and an engine (I have most of the parts for the engine except block and head - cracked). - I started the body work and it is getting close to completion. Rear floors done, front floor needs to be welded in (panel included, needs work), driver rocker done, passenger "ok" (new rocker panel included), quarters need work. Doors very nice as are front fenders. Engine compartment has been painted. - Interior mostly complete - Nice seats and door panels, new carpet, no headliner, but have bows. - I rewired the ENTIRE car for 12 volt and all the wiring is new (12 volt) including dash. All bulbs are 12 volt. - It has a new 12 volt blower motor (not 6 volt using a resistor!) - Rebuilt wiper motor by Wiperman. - New fuel sender and tank cleaned. - Refurbished heater core and radiator. - All new brakes that need to be finished. Emergency brake works. New wheel cylinders, hoses, shoes, etc. Wheel bearings greased. - Resealed the rear end and added fresh oil. - Drive shaft has new universal joints. - Transmission (3 speed). - New door glass plus original. - New shocks front and rear. - New tire rod ends. - Entire chassis greased. - New Denman wide white wall tires. - New clutch as well with new disc and throw out bearing. - No engine, but have all parts from tear down except head and block (crank, cam, pistons, etc.). - New 12 volt alternator. - Rebuilt starter. - Rebuilt water pump. - Rebuilt carburetor. - Pertronix electronic ignition. - NEW flywheel. - NEW complete engine gasket kit. - Nice intake and exhaust manifolds. - New motor mounts. - Original plus aftermarket air cleaner. I have a second Jet for sale as well and a ton of parts as well. Thanks.
