HELLO, I AM GOING TO TRY THIS ONE LAST TIME, ON THE LAST AUCTION I WAS INFORMED THAT THE BIDDING WAS PRIVATE. I DIDNT REALIZE THIS UNTIL THE AUCTION WAS OVER, I APOLOGIZE, I WOULDNT BID ON ANYTHING I COULDNT SEE WHO I AM BIDDING AGAINST ETHER, THANK YOU DOUG this auction is for a 1983 fxrs in original unmolested condition. this bike is part of my collection for the last 17 years. THIS IS ONE OF THE LAST SHOVELS EVER MADE. 5 SPEED TRANS ,RUBBER MOUNTED ENGINE. I went thru this bike before listing to make sure it is road ready.I KNOW ITS HARD TO BID ON A BIKE BEFORE SEEING IT SO I WILL TRY TO DISCRIBE IT AS ACURATE AS POSIBLE. THE GOOD AND THE BAD. -CLEANED CARB AND INSTALLED NEW AIR CLEANER -INSTALLED TWO BRAND NEW DUNLOP TIRES WITH 0 MILES ON THEM. -INSTALLED BRAND NEW BATTERY. LESS THAN A WEEK OLD. -CHANGED ALL BRAKE FLUID -CHANGED OIL AND FILTER -CHANGED TRANSMISION OIL -NEW DRIVE CHAIN NOW FOR THE BAD STUFF, IT HAS A SMALL HOLE IN THE LEFT SIDE OF THE SEAT (SEE PICTS.)ABOUT THE SIZE OF PENCIL ERASER THERE IS A DENT ON THE UPPER LEFT SIDE OF THE TANK ABOUT 2 INCHES ROUND. ALSO HAS CUSTOM PIN STRIPING ON THE ORIGINAL FACTORY PAINT. THERE ARE A FEW PAINT CHIPS HERE AND THERE, THE CHROME IS STILL IN GOOD CONDITION. ALL THE PAINT ON TANKS FRAME AND ENGINE IS FACTORY ORIGINAL AND NOT TOUCHED UP WITH SPRAY CANS.OVERALL THIS BIKE IS IN PRETTY GOOD CONDITION FOR BEING 32 YEARS OLD. THIS BRINGS UP A BOX TO CLICK WHICH BLOWS THE PICTURE UP INTO A VERY DETAILED CLOSE UP. OK, You are buying my period correct early 70's Honda CB750 Chopper. This bike is one I bought years ago with the intentions of finishing it. As you can see I have not gotten there. I am overwhelmed. So, it goes to someone who can hopefully finish the project. I do not know what brand the frame is. The engine is a CB750 engine. I have included pictures of many of the extra parts that go with the bike but there are more in more boxes. I think there is more than enough to finish the project but no guarantees. The engine is a good engine that has very strong compression. The exhaust is good too. The sissy bar is from the early 70's. Those of you as old as I am (65), remember the days of the movie Easy Rider, one the best all time movies starring Peter Fonda. People went nuts after that movie building choppers and everybody wanted to be an easy rider. It was an amazing time in this country. It was a time when we were free, when we had true freedom. It was so cool. I hope someone out there buys this bike and finishes it, but, maybe you want it just for the engine, that is cool too. i I don't have a title for the bike. In most states you can get a title for a bike you built. All the constructors of their own choppers do it all the time. I will provide you with a Bill of Sale and will Notorize it if you need that. Hey, for $995.00 I think this is a very good deal. If the bike does not sell, I will be keeping it in my collection for posterity. 1976 Honda Gold Wing Hover your mouse over a picture to see it enlarged!! 1976 Honda Gold Wing GL1000. Original bike. This was the second year for the Gold Wing. This bike is in rare condition for its' age and the bike does run and drive and brake fine. The bike has its' original D.I.D. rims, original paint, original chrome and fenders too. Replacement seat was added about 10 years ago for more comfort. I don't have the original seat. The exhaust is very good and is also original to the bike. I lost the left side cover so it has a replacement. It has the Windjammer SS Fairing. Both dual front disc brakes work fine. The bike has a very cool front fork brace unit that helps with stability at speed....very rad. The engine runs very fine with no issues. I am getting a little fuel leakage from the left back carb and I think it is a float or something so you will need to put attention to that. The right exhaust pipe had a small leak on the bottom and I had it repaired by a local dealer. The paint and decals are all original. The tires are ok but the front should be replaced soon in my opinion. There are no leaks that I am aware of at this time. The right hand control start button has fallen out so you need a new one. I just touch the one wire to the handlebars to engage the electric starter. If no one buys the bike, I will be buying a new left side cover and a control for the handlebar, and removing the fairing and going back to stock headlight, etc..... so here is a chance to buy a 1976 running Gold Wing for a very reasonable price!!!
