Here is a very nice 2005 Big Dog Chopper! 1917cc S&S motor, Baker 6 speed transmission, 250 rear tire, runs and drives like new. All original, and just the way it was when it was on the showroom floor. Here is my understanding of the history. in 2006, it was on a dealers showroom floor. Someone backed a trailer up to the front door in the middle of the night, broke it open, and rolled numerous new bikes out the door. They then put all the bikes into a warehouse, and ground off the VIN numbers. There they sat for years. Never found. Until last year. He took one to a Kentucky D.M.V. office and tried to register/plate the bike with a "new" vin number stamped onto it. They arrested him. Upon searching his address, they found the rest of the bikes. The insurance company had paid out years ago, and now was the rightful owner of these bikes. So, they sent them all to auction. The state of Kentucky inspected these bikes, assigned each a New VIN number and title, Not salvage, No remarks, No Brands, No liens. So......I bought one of them. Nice bike. Fast. Smooth. Very attractive. We re-built the carburetor and flushed the tank, as the fuel was very old. We drained the engine and gearbox oil and changed the filter. Also replaced the battery as it was a 2005 battery. Done. It now starts runs and drives like a brand new bike! I believe sticker price was around $30,000 new, and it's as clean now as it was then. My wife says....nice. Very sharp. Now sell it. She's been around 29 years, and the bike a few months. So, the choice was easy. I'll keep the wife and sell the bike. I've been a near perfect Ebayer for 14 years, with 800 plus transactions to near 100%. I do Ebay the way it should be done. And expect the same in return. We can get this bike to Port of Savannah for export, and help with shipping. Though shipping is ultimately buyers responsibility. Please email me any questions, and I'll respond as soon as possible.
